Introduction

I played a pivotal role in the seamless integration of Livongo into the Microsoft Teams 3rd party platform. Collaborating closely with a Livongo designer and researcher, I served as the UX consultant for this project, ensuring that user experience was at the forefront of our efforts.

Together, we ensured that Livongo's design adhered to Microsoft Teams user experience guidelines, guaranteeing a cohesive and intuitive experience for users. Through our combined expertise and dedication, we successfully facilitated the integration process, ensuring a user-friendly and efficient experience for all stakeholders involved.

Onboarding Made Simple
  • I orchestrated a streamlined and intuitive onboarding process, meticulously crafted to minimize drop-offs.

Understand

Conducted a thorough competitive analysis to gauge Livongo's position in the healthcaress sector and pinpoint opportunities for differentiation.

Explore

Evaluated Livongo's business model and conducted user research to uncover alignment with customer segments, revealing key insights into user needs and opportunities for improvement.

Define 

Concurrently, an assessment of the existing online platform user journey was performed, revealing pain points and opportunities for improvement. This aimed to ensure a smoother and more intuitive experience for users.

Materialize 

Furthermore, heuristic evaluations were conducted on the prototype to evaluate usability and user experience, offering valuable insights into strengths and weaknesses. These findings informed the direction of the redesign strategy.

This research examined user desirability of integrating CCM with Teams, focusing on broader tech needs. Marrying two key products requires close scrutiny to determine the most valuable, convenient, seamless, and secure ways of managing chronic conditions on a popular tech platform.

Refining Experiences Through Rigorous Evaluation

Prior to commencing development, we meticulously analyzed the prototypes designed by the project's lead designer through a comprehensive UX evaluation process. This evaluation aimed to scrutinize the designs from various perspectives, ensuring they align with user needs, usability standards, and project goals. By thoroughly assessing the prototypes before moving forward, we aimed to identify any potential issues, refine the user experience, and lay a solid foundation for the development phase.

Next Steps

The subsequent phase involved collaborating with the development team to kickstart the development phase, lasting six months. Throughout this period, the development team diligently translated design concepts into functional software, performing coding, testing, and iterative refinement to realize the product. This collaborative effort between design and development teams was pivotal in ensuring effective implementation of the envisioned product, staying true to the design objectives.
